Sump Pump Systems
A sump pump is positioned in a basin below the floor, where water seepage from the drain tile system collects. When the water reaches a certain height, a float switch activates the pump, and water is pumped through a discharge line and away from the building.
A battery backup uses an external battery wired to an auxiliary sump pump in case of a power outage. If your power is knocked out during a storm, the battery switches on to operate the pump. When power is restored, the battery recharges for its next use.
If you've had flooding or are located near or below the ambient water table, consider this option.
Waterproofing NE offers full installation and replacement of sump pumps, battery backups, discharge lines and sump basins.
Water collected in the sump basin is pumped away from the building through a discharge line. A battery backup ensures your basement will not flood in a power outage.
